Emphasis in clinical health psychology (non-thesis)

This clinical health psychology track, which does not include a thesis, may be appropriate for you if you plan to work in a masters-level position using skills related to the promotion of health and wellness and the prevention and treatment of illness.

You’ll study the theoretical and methodological foundations of health psychology and be able to take advantage of real-world situations in our Health Psychology Center. 

Admissions

To be admitted, you must do one of the following:

• take or have taken an undergraduate health psychology course
• successfully complete a comprehensive exam covering topics from an undergraduate health psychology course
