ADDITIONAL STUDY IN POSITIVE BEHAVIOR SUPPORT/APPLIED BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS/AUTISM
Our diverse Master’s degrees focus on fostering skills related to the promotion of health and wellness, in addition to prevention and treatment of behavioral health problems. Along with one of our Master’s degrees in Psychology, the graduate certificate in Positive Behavior Support can also be earned as an additional credential to specialize in providing direct services and consultation for children with autism spectrum disorders and other disabilities. In the state of Arizona, these credentials can prepare you to serve as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst or as a Habilitation service provider. A Habilitation, Behavioral - Masters (Hab – M) - is an expanded Habilitation service code through the Department of Economic Security, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DES/DDD) designed to help people with developmental disabilities and behavior challenges remain in their homes and their communities. These tandem graduate credentials can provide marketable training and skills to serve children with autism spectrum disorders and others in clinical, community and home settings.
