Welcome to NAU Model United Nations
Northern Arizona University Model United Nations is an elite
academic club designed to promote an interest in and an understanding of the
inner-workings of the United Nations. With a membership of over 30 students,
NAU Model UN has excelled in academic conferences at UC Santa Barbara, UC Los
Angeles, and World MUN in Sydney, Australia.
Together this student run organization trains in the field of debate,
research, and resolution writing in order to become competitive in these
conferences and win awards in their respective committees. NAU Model UN has
consistently won awards at these conferences and even received the highest
honor of Best Delegate at UCLA in Spring 2013. Collectively through
representation of different countries, fierce debate, and participation in
national and international conferences, NAU Model UN has helped train future
generations for their new careers in International Relations as well as
promoted a necessary new voice in the global conversation.
