ICOPE 6 - Getting Here

As you make your travel arrangements, we recommend flying into Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.  From Phoenix, you can fly, drive, or take a shuttle (see information below) to Northern Arizona University's High Country Conference Center in Flagstaff.

Travel by Shuttle:

  • Arizona Shuttle offers round trip service between Phoenix Airport and NAU Campus

 Travel by Car:

 Rental cars are available at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.  The Rental Car Center accommodates all airport rental car companies, their rental counters and vehicles.  If you are planning to rent a car at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, be sure to make a reservation.  Vehicles are limited for walk-up customers.

Driving Directions

Approaching from I-17 N (Phoenix)

 

  • Continue on I-17 which changes to S. Milton Road
  • Travel North on S Milton Road for 1.26 miles and turn right onto W Butler Avenue
  • Make an immediate right turn into Drury Inn and Suites and the High Country Conference Center

 

Approaching from I-40 W (Albuquerque)

  • Take exit 195 and merge onto I-17 N
  • Continue on I-17 N, which changes to S Milton Road 
  • Travel North on S Milton Road for 1.26 miles and turn right onto W Butler Avenue
  • Make an immediate right turn into Drury Inn and Suites and the High Country Conference Center

 Approaching from I-40 E (Los Angeles and Kingman)

  • Take exit 195 toward AZ 89A/Phoenix/Flagstaff, then merge onto I-17 N
  • Continue on I-17 N which changes to S Milton Road
  • Travel North on S Milton Road for 1.26 Miles and turn right onto W Butler Avenue
  • Make an immediate right turn into Drury Inn and Suites and the High Country Conference Center

Travel by Train:

The Southwest Chief runs from Chicago to Los Angeles, through Flagstaff.  Amtrak is an alternative to flying between Flagstaff and Los Angeles; the Amtrak station is conveniently located in downtown Flagstaff.
