Society for the Study of Social Problems—I currently serve on the Budget, Finance, and Audit Committee, am Chair of the Committee of Special Problems Divisions, and have served as the Chairperson for the Race and Ethnic Relations Division and the Division of Sport, Leisure and the Body.
I teach courses in White Collar Crime, Hollywood and the Social Construction of Crime, Comparative Justice Systems, and Justice Policies (to name a few).
Recent publications and projects
I am currently working on a research project examining the accuracy of the media's presentation of crime and offenders.
