Lisa J. Hardy, PhD
Dr. Hardy received her PhD from Temple University in 2007. She is a Fellow with the Interdisciplinary Health Policy Institute (IHPI) at NAU and an Associate of the Arizona Cancer Center. Research interests include Medical anthropology, policy, cities, community-engaged research, ethnographic methods; N America. Dr. Hardy is currently actively engaged in several Arizona-based projects that investigate patient-physician communication, obesity and wellness, substance abuse, immigration, and policy. Dr. Hardy works with community collaborations throughout the state to develop research strategies and implementation plans in the area of public health. She is the Lead Evaluator on Hermosa Vida, a community and policy level wellness project run out of North Country HealthCare.
