About Ericka: I am majoring in Dental Hygiene along with pursuing a Bachelor in microbiology. It’s been a great experience so far here at NAU. My son, Noah is 4 and attends Haven Montessori, so you’ll likely see him monkeying around at “the park” as he calls it.
It’s been great getting to know people so far and I look forward to getting to know everyone. I am also open to suggestions for activities you’d like to attend during the school year.
Name: Matthew Evans
About Matthew: Matt Evans is married to Sophia Barkat and their three-year-old is Adnan Barkat Evans. Matt and his spouse reside in the political science PhD program. He hopes to complete his dissertation in Israeli and US conscientious objectors to military service in the near future. He hails from Louisville, Kentucky, previously attended the University of Louisville, and grew up in southern Indiana and Kentucky. In his spare time, he enjoys jogging, tennis, hiking, and reading esoteric philosophy and existentialist novels.

About Tiffany: Tiffany is from Mesa, Arizona and has an Associates & three medical certificates from Eastern Arizona College. Tiffany made a huge shift as a Junior when she moved to Flagstaff. She is now an undergraduate in Interior Design.
Working as an RA in South Family, raising a family, and even making the NAU Dean's List keeps her busy. She wouldn't have it any other way. Tiffany enjoys using creativity and devotes her time to making the "NAU experience" a memorable one.

About Loya: I'm a sophomore studying Public Health. My interests are health, exercise, family time and outdoor activities. I moved here from Alaska where my husband and our three kids loved going on adventures together. I look forward to meeting you and progressing in our studies here at NAU!
