I love working with freshman students because of the energy and excitement that they bring to campus. Why I chose NAU: I chose NAU because the environment is so welcoming. It is easy to become part of a family at the university and Flagstaff is such a great place to live.
Why I’m excited to be an RA: I am excited to be returning to Sechrist as an RA to be able to assist and bond with my staff members and residents. Being the one these individuals come to for help and support is such a rewarding feeling. Every day in this role teaches you something new and I cannot wait to see what this year has in store.

Why I chose NAU: I chose NAU because I wanted an adventure, its far from home but I feel at home here. The atmosphere on campus was welcoming and exciting when I toured, and it hasn't changed since then. I love the outdoors, the mountains, and the snow!
Why I’m excited to be an RA: I’m excited to continue as an RA because I have enjoyed helping students acclimate to their first year away at NAU and helping students get the most out of their time at NAU. I am excited to share my experience while helping freshmen make their own and grow.

Why I chose NAU: I choose NAU because of how different it is from back home! I love being able to experience each season up here in the mountains, especially the snow! Plus Flagstaff, is a beautiful town to explore in itself!
Why I’m excited to be an RA: I think that being a RA will be a wonderful way to end my time here at NAU! I love meeting new people and creating tons of fun memories! I'm looking so forward to having a great year with my residents and growing with them in this next year!

Why I chose NAU: I love everything about NAU: how the university pushes myself to be the best I can be academically, how students are able to be vocal about issues they are passionate about, and I love the seasons and scenery that Flagstaff and the San Francisco Peaks offer.
Why I’m excited to be an RA: I am excited to be an RA because I want to be able to help my residents connect to NAU. Being a freshman in college can be tough and hopefully I can help my residents make a smooth adjustment to life on campus.

Why I chose NAU: I chose NAU because I wanted to experience new things outside of my home state of Oregon. It has the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Vegas, and Snowboarding all relatively nearby. Plus Flagstaff is the only place in Arizona where you can find a forest, snow and cacti within an hour of each other.
Why I’m excited to be an RA: I'm excited to be an RA because I'll get to help my residents through the transition in their life that is college. Building a community and watching residents grow throughout the year will be an awesome experience that I'll have the privilege to influence. I also look forward with working with the amazing staff that Sechrist has.

Why I chose NAU: I came to NAU to challenge myself by getting out of my comfort zone and going to a place where I didn't know anyone. NAU was the perfect choice because of the similar weather as my hometown but substituting the rain with sunshine!
Why I’m excited to be an RA: I am excited to be an RA this year so I can continue to challenge myself by learning from people with different interests than me.

Why I chose NAU: I chose NAU because I wanted a chance to spread my wings as an individual and experience a whole different scenery from Hawaii. NAU is the perfect fit for me.
Why I’m excited to be an RA: I'm excited to be an RA because I want to help new students feel as comfortable as possible with their transition to college. I know personally being from Hawaii that it's not easy making this change therefore I want to try my best to make residents feel welcomed to NAU.

Why I’m excited to be an RA: I am excited to get to know my residents! I love that being an RA offers me the ability to get to know so many people from such different backgrounds!

Why I chose NAU: My mom went to NAU for her undergraduate degree and when I came to visit I completely fell in love. I love the small town feel and how NAU is such a great community! Plus the weather is just an awesome bonus.
Why I’m excited to be an RA: I am so excited to be an RA this year for a couple of reasons. I am pumped to make great relationships with my residents, plan fun hall events, and help to create a great community here in Sechrist!

Why I chose NAU: When I visited NAU my senior year of high school I didn't feel like I was home and I knew instantly that I wanted to go here. I love the environment and being up in the mountains.
Why I’m excited to be an RA: I get to watch my residents grow and learn and help them when they need it. When I was a freshman I felt like my RA was always there for me and I want my residents to feel the same way.

Why I chose NAU: I chose NAU because I love the weather and atmosphere of the University along with the rest of Flagstaff. Flagstaff has that small town type of feel and the people are very friendly. I also liked the fact that NAU isn’t too far from home since my family life is very important to me. Lastly, Flagstaff withholds a strong art community across many of its residents. I believe it’s important to surround myself with other artists from a variety of backgrounds because they each have something I can learn and grow from being that I am an artist myself.
Why I’m excited to be an RA: I’m excited to be an RA for a lot of reasons, however the biggest reason is because I will have the opportunity to help my residents transition from high school to college. I’ll be able to share my experiences and provide insight to my residents so that they have the best year possible both in and out of their residential living community.

Why I’m excited to be an RA: I believe student involvement on campus is truly an amazing way to not only grow as an individual, but also assist others in self-development. As an RA, I am given the privilege of becoming a community builder and role model for my fellow peers, thus granting me the ability to experience NAU on a completely different level.

Why I’m excited to be an RA: I thoroughly enjoy working with residents. As a second year RA, watching them progress and grow into self-sufficient individuals is by far the most rewarding aspect of the job.
