Why I choose Northern Arizona University: I chose NAU because of the people, the Residence Life department and the Counseling-Student Affairs Master’s program. I really appreciate that NAU is a student centered institution with the goal of students succeeding both academically and personally. Therefore, professional staff has been placed around campus to assist students as they develop and transition into independent adults. As I am both a student and a professional staff member, I have the best of both worlds. Also, the 300 days of sunshine is a bonus.
