Gabaldon Residence Hall Director
Name: Julie Robertson
- Bachelor of Science, Secondary Education- Broadfield Science - Montana State University
- Master of Education, Educational Leadership and Policy - The University of Utah
Why I chose NAU: Initially I was drawn to NAU because of the easy access to so many wonderful outdoor opportunities - as a biker and hiker, this area is top notch! However, the people of NAU and Flagstaff have truly made my experience here rich and memorable. I also love the vibrancy of campus, which is a result of housing over 7000 students here on campus! Go Jacks!
Why I am excited to be an RHD: The unique and diverse students who live in the Gabaldon Hall community make me excited to come to work every day! I also really enjoy working in a department that is so genuinely positive and student focused. I have found the Housing and Residence Life department, NAU, and the larger Flagstaff community to be warm and welcoming, and I constantly try to extend that experience to my residents and staff.

I am even more excited to continue my Aerial Arts training at the local aerial studio in Flagstaff!
Why I am excited to be a Graduate Assistant: I have served as an RA at my undergrad for three years. I am ready to start my second year within the role as a Graduate Assistant Residence Hall Director and take more opportunities at working with students living in the community.

The community that NAU provides is friendly, educational and overall the kind of environment I saw myself in while attending school.
