Why I’m excited about being an RHD:

Campus Heights Resident Assistants

2014 Yaeren Hernandez - Campus Heights
Name: Yaeren Hernandez
Major: Biomedical Science and Modern Languages
Hometown: Rio Rico, AZ

Why I Chose Northern Arizona University: I like the small town atmosphere.

Why I’m Excited to be an RA: I'm looking forward to work with residents from different places.

2014 Liam McFadden - Campus Heights
Name: Liam McFadden
Major: Mechanical Engineering
Hometown: Tucson, AZ

Why I Chose Northern Arizona University: I enjoy spending time in the outdoors, hiking and biking. I chose NAU partially because of the great outdoor environment in close proximity as well as the smaller class sizes resulting from NAU being a smaller university.

Why I’m Excited to be an RA: I enjoy being an RA because it enables me to meet a large variety of individuals as well give back to those individuals through community building activities.

2014 Taylor Shaw - Campus Heights
Name: Taylor Shaw
Major: International Hospitality Management with a Minor in French
Hometown: Phoenix, AZ

Why I Hope Northern Arizona University: NAU was a perfect fit for me because it was far enough away from home that I felt independent but close enough in case I needed my family. It is also the only in-state university that offers my minor. Finally, after living in 100 degree weather for eighteen years, I figured it was time to experience seasons and not just varying degrees of hot.

Why I'm Excited to be an RA: I am most excited about forming friendships with my residents and seeing them grow as a community every day. I am also excited to be a resource for both international and domestic students who live in the International House of Campus Heights.
