Name: Jennifer Ruman
- Bachelor of Science in Health Science, Pre-Health Professional – Oakland University, 2011
- Pursuing a Masters in Counseling Student Affairs – Northern Arizona University
Why I’m excited about being an RHD: During my time at Oakland University in Michigan, I had the privilege to work in Housing and Residence Life as a Resident Assistant and Apartment Community Assistant. Working with residents has become a passion of mine, and I’m excited to continue working in the field as the Residence Hall Director of Campus Heights!
Campus Heights Resident Assistants
Name: Danielle DeLano
Major: Political Science, Asian Studies, Religious Studies and Mandarin Chinese minors
Hometown: Chandler, AZ
Why I Chose Northern Arizona University: I really was not feeling the desert anymore. Flagstaff is so different from the Phoenix area and Tucson. The whole environment is totally different up here, and I love it.
Why I’m Excited to be an RA: This is a new experience for me working on campus and getting to work with residents. I look forward to helping create an awesome community that future students will want to live in!
Name: Erin Reddick
Major: Elementary Education with a Certificate in Early Childhood Development
Hometown: Avondale, AZ
Why I Chose Northern Arizona University: The moment I stepped onto Northern Arizona University's campus I fell in love with the rich history and welcoming environment, I decided then and there that I wanted to spend the next four years here studying elementary education.
Why I’m Excited to be an RA: For the past two years here at NAU I've focused on my own goals and my own desires and this year I became an RA because I'm ready to be here for other people. I'm excited to be a resource for my residents and I'm excited to put on programs that will get them involved within the community as well as within the school.
Name: Todd Stratton
Major: Exercise Science; minor Chemistry and Psychology
Hometown: Glendale, AZ
Why I chose NAU: For most of high school I wanted to be an engineer, and then for a reason still unknown to me I completely switched directions and decided physical therapy would be a great route to go. I remember hearing that NAU has an excellent PT program and decided it would be a good place to go for my undergrad as well. Plus, it’s hard to beat this weather!
Why I am excited to be an RA: I enjoy getting to know people! People all have their own individual wealth of experiences and knowledge, and I like being able to learn and take away from other people’s
lives and situations. If I do my job right, my residents will be tight knit and be able to benefit as well!
