Hall Director

Name: Demetri Kelley
Phone: 928-523-3212

- Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Minor Certificate in Sociology; Northern Arizona University
- Master of Arts in College Student Personnel; Bowling Green State University

Why I chose NAU: I attended NAU as an undergraduate student, and had an amazing experience! From the day I first visited campus as a prospective student, I immediately felt part of the Lumberjack family. NAU is full of faculty, staff and student leaders who are genuinely interested in our students' well-being and success. The opportunity to give back to my alma mater and help guide students toward positive educational experiences was an opportunity that I had to take!

Why I am excited to be an RHD: The campus community is perhaps the most critical piece of the collegiate experience, which is why being an RHD is so exciting! I enjoy working with first-year students, and I am excited to help foster a welcoming and supportive living and learning environment as they transition through the collegiate experience.

Why I’m excited to be an RA: I have spent my whole life being called "Mom" by all of my friends and acting as a form of counselor in various settings - now I get to jumble all of that into one great job! Not to mention all of the amazing people I will meet and the friends I will inevitably make!

Why I chose NAU: I chose NAU for a change in weather from Southern Arizona. I was used to playing soccer in the heat of Tucson and Phoenix and was ready for a change. NAU was the only school I applied for and knew as soon as I got here it was the right choice for me!

Why I’m excited to be an RA: I am excited to help the NAU class of 2020 adjust to their new college life! This process can be intimidating and luckily for me I had a great RA and they really helped me settle down and were always available and if I want to do the same for this year's class of freshman!
