Summer Student Housing - for students who are registered for summer classes OR preregistered for the fall semester
Workshop Housing - students taking NAU credit courses or workshops for 21 days or less during the 5 week summer sessions
Summer Camps and Conferences Housing - if you are interested in hosting a conference in Flagstaff on the NAU campus, please contact the High Country Conference Center for information.
Workshop housing is available in Mountain View, a suite style hall.

Check-in and checkout
Summer 2017 housing will be located in McDonald, Raymond and South Village, each housing three students per apartment. The summer housing application will open in February. Apply for housing by logging into the housing portal using your NAU user ID and password and follow the step-by-step directions to complete your application. Note: Applicants who do not currently reside on campus will be charged a $25 non-refundable housing application fee posted to your student LOUIE account.
Students Under 18:
For your housing application to be considered complete, all admitted applicants under the age of 18 must download and submit a copy of the contract terms including a parent or legal guardian signature, date and contact number within seven (7) days of submitting the application. If the signed contract terms are not submitted, the student’s housing application will be cancelled. View and print contract terms here.

For your convenience, rent is billed to your LOUIE account the Monday after session check-in. Summer rent rates will be listed here in February.
Workshop Housing Applying for workshop housing
The application for Workshop housing will be available in March.
Workshop housing is based on space availability and duration of stay. Workshop housing is for students taking NAU
credit courses or workshops for fewer than 21 days during the 5 week summer
sessions. A $25 non-refundable application fee will be posted to your student account upon submission of your application. If you are not registered for an NAU academic course, please have your sponsoring department register you as an NAU Affiliate before applying for housing.
Please use your NAU gmail account to login. If you experience issues, please log off your standard gmail account and login with your NAU gmail account.
Check-in and checkout
Wireless and wired internet service is provided in all rooms and directions on accessing the internet are available at the front desk.
Linens are provided and include a blanket, pillow, towel, washcloth, and sheets. If you are staying longer than five nights, you can arrange a linen exchange with the residence hall front desk staff.
Rooms do not include telephones, televisions, hair dryers or irons. There is no daily housekeeping service for the rooms. Additional trash bags are available at the front desk.
If you are paying for a double occupancy room, you will have a roommate and will share the bathroom with 1-2 other people. If you are paying for a single occupancy room, you will have the bedroom to yourself and will share the bathroom with 1-2 other people.
If you bring your spouse and/or children, you will pay the family suite rate, which includes both bedrooms, the bathroom, and one key for each bedroom. Families may only include members of the immediate family (husband, wife, and children under 18). A maximum occupancy of 5 people (4 teens or adults max.) per suite are allowed.
You will need your NAU ID to check into your hall. If you plan to check in after the initial check-in dates, please contact our office so that we may hold your room. Workshop Housing Rates
You may check-in after 3 p.m. the day before the workshop begins at the front desk. You must check out by 12 p.m. following the close of the workshop. To arrange a check-in or check-out outside of these times contact the front desk during regular hours, daily from 7 a.m.-9 p.m.

The university does not have guest facilities on campus. With exception of approved service animals and fish, pets are not allowed in university housing.
