To be eligible for family housing, the husband, wife, or single parent renting the apartment must be a full-time student during the academic year. For married couple apartments, you do not need to be married to apply for housing; you must be legally married before you occupy the apartment.

For family apartments, a parent must have legal custody of one or more children. Your spouse and/or children must reside with you at all times for you to remain eligible for family housing and only members of your immediate family (spouse and dependent children under 18 years) may live in the family housing apartment.

Credit requirements
You must carry no less than 12 (undergraduate students) and 9 (graduate students) credit hours each semester during the academic year. During the summer, you must carry 3 credit hours over the summer OR be pre-registered for the upcoming fall semester.

If you withdraw from the university
Once you are no longer registered, you must vacate your family apartment within 48 hours of withdrawal. Call your Residence Hall Director (RHD) or Resident Assistant (RA) to make checkout arrangements.
