3D printers

•Fortus 400mc - This 3D production system is a FDM modeler. By laying down long beads of molten plastic on to each layer and building the part up. RAPIDLab has the ability to print parts in four different materials including ABS, PC, PPSF, and Ultem, in four different layer thicknesses for a highly customizable part. This machine can build parts as large as 16 x 14 x 16 in.
•Objet 30pro - This 3D system is powered by PolyJet technology. Each layer of the part is sprayed with a liquid polymer and cured with a UV light. RAPIDLab has the ability to print with three different materials. VeroWhite is opaque, very rigid, and dimensionally accurate. VeroClear is transparent and very rigid, but can have slight variations in size and thickness. DurusWhite is opaque, a more flexible material, like polypropylene, and can have slight variations in size and thickness. This machine can build parts as large as 11.8 x 7.8 x 5.9 in.
•Dimension sst768 – This 3D system is a FDM modeler, laying down a hot bead of plastic to form each layer of the part. This machine can only print with ABS plastic, but it can print in nine different colors. This machine can print parts as large as 8 x 8 x 12 in.

Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines

•The HAAS TM1p is a full size, 4-axis, CNC vertical mill with a tool changer.  This allows for very complex parts to be made easily.
•The Tormach 700 is a benchtop, 3-axis CNC mill. This machine is small and easy to use and can be used by students with the proper training for anything school related.
•Our Syil CNC lathe is a small computer controlled lathe that allows for manufacturing small complex round parts. 

Measurement devices

•FARO Gage – This is a portable CMM (coordinate measuring machine) used to measure the dimensional accuracy of parts. It is quick and easy to use and is extremely accurate.
