Pollen
The Laboratory of
Paleoecology at Northern Arizona University has a state-of-the-art
pollen-processing laboratory to identify and count pollen. This laboratory
includes five research-grade light microscopes, two binocular microscopes, and a
modern pollen reference collection of ca. 2500 specimens. In addition,
the facility has all of the field
equipment necessary for collecting sediment cores from lakes and wetlands,
including coring platforms and coring equipment. Photo: IDEA Lab
