Give your child an adventure-filled summer at Explorer's Camp
At Explorer's Camp, sixth through eighth graders explore
Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, and the surrounding community through
adventure and experiential education. Summer Activities Leaders and
professional staff provide leadership and skills development in a fun and
engaging atmosphere.
Activities include:
- American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid
certification
- Outdoor Adventures Challenge Course (high/low ropes)
- learning outdoor survival
- Leave No Trace outdoor principles
- basic bike maintenance
- volunteering at a local animal shelter
- assisting with other Summer Youth Programs camps
At minimum, two leaders will be assigned to this group.
Space is limited to 20 campers.
Eligibility
Explorer's Camp is open to all sixth through eighth graders
in the Flagstaff community.
Rates
Enroll your child for a week at a time or for a five-week
session. Please note that weekly enrollment is subject to available program
space.

We do not offer daily rates, and pro-rating is not available. Unfortunately, we can’t give discounts for multiple children or if you are enrolling your child in more than one program.
Session dates
- Session I: June 3 – July 3. Session II: July 8 – August 9
- Morning times: 7am – 12:00pm
- Afternoon times: 12:45pm – 5:15pm
- Full day campers are welcome!
