Rental policies

Reservations

All reservations must be made in person and paid in full. We do not accept telephone reservations.

Cancellations

There will be no charge for cancellations if 24-hour notice is given. If you don’t pick up the equipment by 6 p.m. on the day of the request, the reservation will be cancelled.

Late fees

A late fee will be charged for each day an item is overdue. We do not waive late fees. Items more than one week overdue will be considered lost and you will be charged for the replacement cost of the item. Late fees not paid within a week will result in a fine.

Pick up

You must pick up equipment on the day of the request by 6 p.m. An official ID is required to pick up gear.

Cleaning

Please return clean items to Outdoor Adventures. A 10 dollar minimum cleaning fee will be assessed to dirty equipment.

Lost/damaged equipment

The renter is responsible for costs of repairs and replacement of goods.

Holds

Charges not paid within 48 hours of equipment return will result in a student account hold, preventing registration activity.

Refunds

No refunds will be made.

Outdoor Adventures is located in the Health and Learning Center. Please inquire within to request other items to be rented. Renting any of these items while taking an Outdoor Adventures class will cost 5 dollars per item.
