The NAU Emergency Management Advisory Group is the university’s organization responsible for emergency and incident preparedness; specifically, the coordination of the university’s efforts to mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters and emergencies that occur on campus or impact our campus. Although public safety is our job, it is a community partnership and the responsibility of everyone at the University. Through programs of education, information, and active police and security presence we endeavor to ensure that students, faculty, and staff are free from safety distractions so that they may learn, teach, and conduct research.
