FAQs
Are Olson Scholars required to live in the Olson
Scholars Learning Community in Cowden Hall?
Yes, this is a very important part of our first year experience
and you won’t want to miss out on all of the learning community
activities. Olson Scholars will have the
opportunity to preference their Olson Scholar roommate while on campus at
orientation in June.
Apply for your room in a freshman connections hall on the
Housing and Residence Life (HRL) website.
Because the Olson Scholars Learning Community is not open to every
student you will not find a specific Olson Scholar Learning Community in the
list of choices. We are reserving twenty
spots for Olson Scholars and when those students are selected we will send the
names to Housing and Residence Life and they will assign a space to you if they
have received your application to live in a freshman connections residence
hall.
