Assessment design
The assessment design should:
- describe who and how many will
participate in the assessment
- describe the process for selecting
participants
- include information about demographics
and incentives relevant to the assessment
- provide clear information about
participants relative to degree program students
- discuss pros and cons of the assessment
design (participation issues, issues evaluating data quality, such as
validity, inter-rater reliability, etc.)
The department should ensure that the
majority, if not all, faculty (as defined by the department) should review and
discuss the assessment design prior to its implementation.
