How to view and add Menu items
The Menu for a page is located on the left-hand side of the screen under the department's contact information. Menus help viewers easily navigate the site.
*If you create a new menu or submenu item and it is not displaying, do not delete it. Contact EDEN-Help at 3-9267 to add the menu configuration to your site.
- To view a menu, select the main folder of your
- Click “View” to the right of the folder area,
and select “Menu.”

Create a new
- To create a
menu, navigate to your site’s main folder in the CMS folder structure.
- Select New
-> Menu in the CMS Toolbar.
- The “Add
Menu” screen will appear in the CMS workspace. Choose a name for your menu,
typically the name of your site followed by the word “menu.” (e.g., For the
CEFNS main site, “CEFNS Menu”)
the “Save Menu” icon. Your menu will now be displayed in the CMS workspace
where you can add menu items.

Modify menu items

- Click “View”
to the right of the folder area, and select “Menu.”
- Click the
“Reorder Menu Items” icon in the toolbar.
- Select a Menu
Item and use the arrows to move it up or down until all items are in the
- Click the
item from the menu
- When viewing
a menu, select the menu item you wish to have deleted.
the “delete menu item” icon. The menu
item will no longer be displayed in the menu. Deleting menu items in this
manner will only remove the page from the menu; the page it links to will still
exist. NOTE: If you delete a menu item that still contains sub menus in the
layer(s) below, they will also be removed.
