Who We Are
The LGBTQIA Commission is organized to promote acceptance of LGBTQIA (Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transgender-Queer-Intersex-Ally) diversity, and to foster respect and appreciation for each member of the NAU community, including Extended Campuses students, faculty and staff.
We are bound by the common interest of promoting mutual respect, fairness, equity, and a climate of inclusivity on campus. The Commission is open to all current university
employees, students, and select Flagstaff community members who agree with
How To Get Involved
For Fall 2016, all-member meetings are scheduled once a month on Fridays from 1:30-3:30pm, at the Gateway Center classroom, located in building #43. They are currently scheduled for:
- September 23rd
- October 21st
- November 18th (this meeting will be at Cline Library room 200)
are also committee meetings, programs, and events which occur throughout the academic year. To learn
