The Office of LGBTQA Resources and Support provides numerous events throughout the year.


Our main events throughout the year:

  • Ignite: A welcome program in the fall for new first year students who identify as LGBTQ and/or a Person of Color
  • Coming Out Week (October)
  • HIV & STI Testing (November & March)
  • Trans Awareness Week (November)
  • Queering Arizona Leadership Conference (February)
  • NAU Pride (April)
  • Rainbow Convocation (May)
  • Intersectional Programming: LGBTQA Resources and Support recognizes the intersection of identities; with this recognition, intersectional events are held during Heritage months and LGBTQ weeks. A few examples of past events include: Supporting Marginalized Populations through Activism and Self-Healing, Still Black: A Portrait of Black Transmen, Supporting Queer Students of Color, Transgender Latin@ - Latin American Identities, Politics and Representations through Short Films
