Publish—Submit for publication to production server, save the page in the CMS repository, and close the document
Check in—Save in the CMS repository, close the document, and make available for further additions/edits
Save—Save the current page without closing it
Close—Close the document without saving any changes since the last save (will give a further warning before actually closing)
