Clubs and organizations
We
sponsor and assist multicultural student clubs and organizations, including fraternities and
sororities that promote recreational and educational events.
Awareness
The
IMS educates the Northern
Arizona University
community on issues relevant to the students it serves.
Our
staff frequently leads and participates in discussions on diversity awareness
and how to recruit and retain multicultural, first-generation, and low-income
students. These events are open to all university members—we would love to see
you there.
If
you are a new multicultural student, join us for our open house in the spring
or fall semester. Continuing multicultural students are all welcome at the annual
reception that we co-sponsor called One Community, Many Voices.

what events are happening now.
Recruitment
The
IMS helps the Office of
Undergraduate Admissions
recruit under-represented high school and community college students. We are
involved in university recruitment programs such as Discover NAU, campus visits, and group
tours.
