Request of Absence (ROA)
The electronic Request of Absence (ROA) is a form within LOUIE that allows benefit-eligible employees to request time off for sick, vacation, compensatory, bereavement, jury duty and leave without pay online.
When an employee wants to take time off work, he or she will submit an ROA for up to 26 pay periods in the future. Upon submission, this request will send an email to their supervisor for approval. These requests will show in the supervisor's worklist. Time and leave reporters no longer have to input leave into the system.
