Colleen is a native of Arizona, born in Winslow, and while at NAU she joined Delta Delta Delta Sorority and enjoyed singing with the school choir. After graduation, Colleen taught elementary school in California, New Mexico, and Arizona. She then moved into the business world and took on several entrepreneurial ventures including ownership of a childcare center, a boutique arts and crafts shop, and a furniture manufacturing company.  She is currently part owner of Tlaquepaque, an arts and crafts shopping center in Sedona, Arizona and works with Realty Executives Brokerage in Phoenix. Colleen is a member of the Phoenix Friends of the Arizona Cancer Center affiliated with the University of Arizona Foundation Board. She has remained connected to her college sorority, the Arizona Town Hall, First United Methodist Church, and the Phoenix and National Real Estate Boards. Colleen attends national furniture markets, and she enjoys travel and philanthropy. She also keeps herself busy with hiking, skiing and music. She lives in Paradise Valley, Arizona. Her son Chad Ragland, ‘93 BS, is a successful off-road Trophy Truck racecar driver.
