Teaching Seminar 2014 Application

“Making Collaborative Learning ‘Work’ Outside the Classroom: Integrating Theory, Research and Practice”

Applications are specifically sought from faculty who teach lower division courses that have high student enrollments.

Application must be submitted no later than Monday, April 14, 2014 (online, faxed to 523-8949, or mailed to Faculty Professional Development Program, Box 4131)

If selected to participate in the Seminar 2014, I agree to the following responsibilities:

  1. availability to participate in full-day sessions on May 14 - 16, 2014
  2. availability for one of the orientation lunches:
    • Monday, April 21; University Union, Havasupai A/B, 11:30 - 12:30 pm
    • Tuesday, April 22; University Union, Havasupai A/B, 12:30 - 1:30 pm
  3. to participate in follow-up discussions with Seminar colleagues during the year following the seminar
  4. to submit a brief report at the end of each semester on the ways my teaching was influenced by the Seminar work and the impact of this work on student learning.
