Northern Arizona University requires all employees to complete the Preventing Workplace Harassment training to help create a safe working environment and to prevent workplace harassment and discrimination.

For supervisors - Intersections: Anti-Harassment & Title IX training

For non-supervisors - Intersections: Preventing Harassment & Sexual Violence

The training is required for all individuals who are employed by the university. All current part-time and full-time administrators, staff, faculty, graduate assistants, and student workers are required to complete the training course by May 1. New employees will be required to complete the training course within 30 days of the hire date. You do not need to complete the entire course in one sitting, your last accesses page will be saved and you can reenter the training as often as needed.

Faculty Search Committee Training

Search training is required for new faculty, and those who have not been trained within the last 12 months.

Civil Rights Compliance Training

Recommended for grant administrators and grantees.

The Arizona Criminal Justice Commission (ACJC)

The U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Office for Civil Rights (OCR) has developed an online training for its funding recipients. ACJC has made this training available to all of its sub-recipients as well. All ACJC federal funding sub-recipient agencies must designate a person whose job duties include civil rights compliance to participate in this annual training.

MissionSTEM

The MissionSTEM website is designed to assist NASA grant recipients with their civil rights compliance efforts. NASA has made this website and training available to the public. While STEM fields are the target audience, it is relevant for all researchers.
