Substance Abuse Program
The Substance Abuse Program works to:
- identify students who have developed a
dependence on drugs or alcohol and are in need of assistance in dealing with
their addiction, as well as support and resources for their recovery
- offer specialized services to counsel, educate,
and/or refer students in need
- identify students who may be using drugs or
alcohol and are making choices which impact them in harmful ways. This
includes:
- getting
into fights or arguments
- getting
university citations or probation
- driving
under the influence
- going
to court
- interfering
with school or work
