Research Focus

I am currently investigating the microbial activation cascades hypothesis with the goal to elucidate possible activation patterns of soil microbial communities and bring insights into microbe-mediated processes taking place in various ecosystems. 

Other Achievements, Honors, Awards

While at NAU, I received a few awards and scholarships including James R. Wick Scholarship, Vesto M.Slipher Biology Scholarship and Junior Scholastic Award (2011). I was also a member of Phi Kappa Phi Society in 2010.

Big-picture Career Goal

I would like that my research brings useful insights into microbial ecology and that my work contributes to expand current knowledge and improve our understanding of ecosystem processes and the way they affect our planet. 

Personal Note

I still love horses, but recently, I have become “addicted” to rock climbing.
