Research Focus

Emily’s research is currently focused on tree ecophysiology, forest thinning and climate change.

Big-picture Career Goal

After graduation Emily hopes to use her research experience to do community science outreach and work in conservation research.

Current Projects

Her thesis project is located in the Pinyon Juniper woodlands of the Kaibab National Forest, west of Flagstaff, AZ. Her researcher focuses on the ecophysiological effects of thinning on remnant trees.
