Social Justice, Equity, Race, and Diversity (SERD)  

Project overview

Founded by a group of faculty and staff within the College of Education for the benefit of the university community, SERD’s mission is to promote a deeper understanding of social justice, equity, race, and diversity for present and future educational stakeholders.

The SERD goals are to:

• build a space for dialogue within the College
• foster a greater sense of community within the College
• identify and create networks between faculty and staff in our workplace
• compile teaching and research resources
• organize action related to issues of social justice, equity, race, and diversity in the university, Flagstaff, and Arizona communities
