Directions

The International House community is located in the center of the NAU campus, on the corner of University and Knoles Drive at the Campus Heights Apartments. It is a short walk from the University UnionCline Library, and Health and Learning Center.

Downtown Flagstaff is only a ten minute drive away from the International House, and Mountain Link bus #10 passes by the I-House on its way downtown.

Arriving by car

  1. Turn east on University Drive from Milton Road
  2. Turn south on Knoles Drive
  3. The International House community at Campus Heights will be immediately on your left on the east side of the street

Director of International Student Retention and Inclusion

Dylan Rust, EdD

Dr. Dylan Rust has been the director of the NAU International House since its inception in 2012. An Arizona native, Dr. Rust is a three-time NAU alumnus and worked for the NAU Office of Housing and Residence Life for nine years before joining the Center for International Education in 2012. In addition to his work for the Center for International Education, Dr. Rust is also the president of the Executive Board of International Houses Worldwide, Inc. and is a past chair of the NAU Service Professional Advisory Council.

Since 2014, the NAU International House has been a member of International Houses Worldwide, Inc., whose mission is to provide students of different nationalities and diverse cultures with the opportunity to live and learn together in a community of mutual respect, understanding, and international friendship.
