Whether you are an international student, a Global Science and Engineering Program student, a Global Business Program student, or simply want to live in a dynamic
community with students from around the world, your first step in making the
International House learning community your new home is to apply.
1. Submit the International House application
Read carefully, complete, and submit the International House Application and Personal Statement online.
2. Submit a residence hall contract application
Apply to live on campus with the Office of Housing and Residence life online through the NAU Housing Portal. This application will open in April.
3. Notification letter
If admitted, the applicant will receive an acceptance letter to the International House. The letter will be sent electronically to the current e-mail address on file. The acceptance letter confirms that a space has been reserved for you based on the term you applied. If not admitted or placed on the waiting list, you will also receive an e-mail indicating so. Students will be notified of their status for the fall semester on May 3rd.
4. Housing and Residence Life is notified
After acceptance to the International House, the Office of Housing and Residence Life will receive notification from the Center of International Education regarding your acceptance and eligibility to be assigned to a space at the International House at Northern Arizona University in Campus Heights.
5. Room assignments
Students who are new to NAU, or who applied after the Priority Admissions Process in March, will be assigned a room by International House and Housing and Residence Life staff.
Applications submitted by May 1st will be reviewed for I-House admissions. Applications submitted after May 1st will be eligible for the I-House waiting list for the fall semester.
