Universidad de Alicante

Established in 1979, the University of Alicante is one of Spain's most modern and innovative universities.  Located in the region of Valencia along the Mediterranean Sea, Alicante is a large Spanish City where both Spanish and Catalan are spoken.  The University of Alicante has excellent programs in both science and engineering, with most course offerings in Spanish.  Options for liberal arts coursework abound, in addition to a well-known Spanish language learning program. Every year, approximately 1200 students from all over the world attend the University of Alicante, which has an enrollment of 33,000 students.
