Make a difference
Some health professionals want to help more than one client
or patient at a time. If you want to
make a difference for an entire population, this certificate will help you
develop the policy knowledge and skills to make that change happen.
Develop skills for positive change
In the certificate program, you will learn to:
- identify
social and personal determinants of health important in policy development
- analyze
institutional policies, ordinances, or legislation
- write
policy for an agency, a company, or a nation
- influence
policy makers on the job, or at the local, state, or national level
- advocate for change in your community or your
country
