Stephanie Cotton Christensen
Stephanie Christensen has been a member of the Northern Arizona University Health Sciences faculty since 2004. She earned her Doctorate in Speech and Hearing Science from Arizona State University. Stephanie's clinical experience involves working with adults with neurogenic communication and swallowing disorders in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient, skilled nursing, and home health care settings. Her research interests include the relationship among cognitive and linguistic processing and functional communication in adults with neurogenic communication disorders.
Primary Teaching Areas in the Department: Speech-Language Sciences and Technology (SST) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certification.
