Tips
8 tips for a successful application
Order your college transcripts as early as possible. Most problems with the process are due to the late arrival of transcripts. We do not accept applications if all previous transcripts are not included.
Since the application form is online and is saved to a database whenever you update it, we recommend filling in the application form at your leisure to make sure everything is correct. You will print your final submission and include the hard copy in your application materials.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in denial of application and/or loss of application points:
do not staple your application pages together
do not change the format of the application
be sure that every section of the application is typed in black ink
If you have any questions regarding advising, you should contact an
a
dviser
.
When completing the coursework section of the application, transfer students should compare course descriptions of previous coursework with the science prerequisite course descriptions at this university.
If you have attended colleges or universities in Arizona, you can view how courses will transfer to this university by using
the CAS system
.
Although portfolios, pictures, resumes, colored paper, and reference letters are often included in other applications, these items are not considered as part of our process. Please do not include them.
When communicating with department staff or faculty, keep in mind that your conversations are a reflection of who you are and what you will bring to the program and may influence admission decisions. Remain respectful, professional, and courteous at all times.
