Athletic Training Program
Monica Lininger comes to Northern Arizona University as an Assistant
Professor in Physical Therapy and Athletic Training. She completed her Ph.D. in Evaluation,
Measurement and Research in 2012, from Western Michigan University. Following
this she completed a two year post-doc fellowship at Western Michigan
University, where she focused on the types of research designs and
methodologies used in Athletic Training research. Currently as an Assistant
Professor in Athletic Training, Monica’s research interests include evaluation
of assessment tools and experimental designs used in the field of Athletic Training.
She enjoys spending time outside hiking with her husband and two young
daughters or running on the many trails that Flagstaff has to offer.
