Monica begins her first year at NAU after completing her PhD (2012) and Post-doc Fellowship in Measurement and Research from Western Michigan University.  She has been teaching at the undergraduate level since 2006 and graduate level since 2012. 

Clinically, she has worked at the high school and collegiate levels as well as at WMU sports medicine clinic.  Her research interests include athletic training research methodology, experimental design, quantitative research methods, and hierarchical linear modeling.

Having recently moved from Michigan, Monica, her husband and two young girls are excited to start enjoying the outdoor lifestyle that Flagstaff has to offer.
