Application process begins in Jan 2013. The NAU/NASA Space Grant provides undergraduate internships that give students experience in conducting research with a mentor while attending NAU.

Noyce Internship NIZHONI ACADEMY
Freshmen and sophomores with abilities in science, math, or technology who enjoy working with youth and have an interest in teaching are invited to apply. This is a pre-college bridge program designed to prepare Native American high school students to become successful college students. The academy emphasizes a rigorous academic instruction, a clear understanding of the demands of college studies, and high academic competency and study skills necessary to be a successful university student. 6 hrs/day; 30 hrs/week; 6 weeks. Stipend is $2,700. June 1 to July 8 (Monday to Friday). Ongoing.
