Advanced Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) Laboratory
The Advanced CAD/CAM Lab is a combined instructional and
research facility. The lab includes computers with CAD/CAM software, as well as
rapid prototyping equipment. It serves as support for:
- Courses: ME 482 – Advanced CAD/CAM, ME 467 –
Manufacturing Processes, ME 467L – Manufacturing Processes Laboratory
- Senior Capstone Projects (ME 476C and ME 486C)
- Student Intercollegiate Competition projects
associated with SAE, ASME, AIAA, and ASCE
Location
The Lab location is in building 98C, in close proximity to
the Manufacturing Lab and Machine Shop, and within walking distance from the
main Engineering building.
