From your first class to a great career

1. apply and be accepted to the university 
2. speak with an adviser and plan your schedule
   • freshmen and transfer students with fewer than 24 credits: seek advising at the Gateway Student Success Center 
   • continuing and transfer students with more than 24 credits: seek advising with your departmental adviser or with your faculty adviser 
    
3. early register for classes by consulting the department’s two year schedule of course offerings 
4. complete a capstone project in your last academic year 
5. get career assistance, an internship or a job by attending a Career Fair (one on October 10th and one in spring) or through Gateway Career Services 
6. graduate
