Dr. Elizabeth Brauer, Professor (PhD, Electrical Engineering, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, 1994) worked for Motorola, Inc. from 1982-85 and for National Semiconductor from 1985-1988. Her research interests are microelectronics, neural networks and design verification. She spent 3 years on the faculty at the University of Kentucky and has been a member of the Electrical Engineering faculty at Northern Arizona University since 1997.
Who am I?
I am a professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at Northern Arizona University. My area of specialty is microelectronics. My current project are analog VLSI circuits of the lamprey unit Pattern Generator and digital VLSI circuits of the Pattern Shaper algorithm for locomotor control.
My personal interests are hiking, running, basketball, and snowshoeing. I am a big fan of the NAU women's basketball team and the Illinois women's basketball team.
