Advising
The Construction Management program has been updated,
starting for students who enroll in fall of 2012. If you are a
currently-enrolled student, this will not change the courses that you need to
graduate, however some courses may no longer be offered. Contact your adviser for additional information.
Construct for Practice (C4P)
Beginning in the fall of 2012, our curriculum will integrate
practical labs with what you learn in the classroom. Team up with other
students to create, design, and manage all facets of a building project.

Course Changes
Some major courses changes that occured in the fall of
2012.

below, it may be recommended that you change your catalog year to the catalog
for 2012-2013. Please contact Marie
Sather to determine if this is the best solution for you.
Course changes for fall 2012:
- CM 124 has been renumbered to CM 223
- CM 491 has been renumbered to CM 391
- CM 224 and CM 225 are now combined as CM 225:
- If you need both CM 224 and CM 225, take CM 225,
CM 200L, CM 300L and CM 400L. The three lab units will be substituted for CM
224 units.
- If you have taken CM 224 or CM 225 and still
need either CM 224 or CM 225, take CM 200L, 300L and 400L. The three lab units
will be substituted for the course needed.
- CM 326 and CM 341 are now combined as CM 326:
- If you need both CM 326 and CM 341, and have
already completed CM 224 and CM 225), take CM 326, CM 300L and CM 400L. The two
lab units will be substituted for the CM 341 units and the third unit will be
waived. (Note: you still must reach the overall required units for graduation.)
- If you need to take either CM 326 or CM 341 have
already completed CM 224 and CM 225, take CM 300L and CM 400L. The two lab
units will be substituted for the CM 341 units and the third unit will be
waived. (Note: you still must reach the overall required units for graduation.)
- If all combined courses are needed (CM 224, CM
225, CM 326 and CM 341), take CM 225, 200L, 300L, 400L, CM 326 and a CM 400-level
elective. The three lab units will be substituted for CM 224, and the CM
elective units will be substituted for CM 341.

Course prerequisite changes
There are some prerequisite changes to plan for.
Read more- CM123 is a co-req with CM130. If LOUIE does not allow you to register for both of these, please contact Marie Sather
- CM 225 requires CM 222 and CM223, or CM 124 with
a grade of C or better
- CM 253 requires STA 270 with a C or better

Graduation
Congratulations on your upcoming graduation!
There are a few steps you need to complete in order to be eligible for
graduation. Read more.
Read more- Print out a graduation
application packet.
- Print out a degree progress report from your LOUIE account.
- Meet with your faculty adviser to fill out the
graduation application and review your degree progress report.
- Get the signatures of your adviser and the
department chair on your graduation application. Your adviser will tell you if
you should take the completed application to Construction Management department
office or the College of Engineering, Forestry, and Natural Sciences.
- The College of Engineering, Forestry, and
Natural Sciences will send your application packet to the Registrar’s office.
A $35 graduation application fee will be applied to your
LOUIE account. You must pay this fee and resolve any financial holds on your
account to receive your diploma.
Deadlines
Fall graduation: Application is due April 15
Spring Graduation: Application is due November 15
