Minor in Construction Management
This minor is designed for students wishing to complement their major
program of study with practical foundational principles in construction,
including a hands-on lab that emphasizing electrical and mechanical
systems and concrete and masonry construction.
What Can I Do with a Minor in Construction Management?
Whether you want to build your
own energy-efficient home or better understand what goes into the
construction of everything from power plants and highways to hospitals
and grocery stores, this minor provides the basics that you'll need to
know. You'll have an opportunity to get your hands dirty building mockup
building and foundation systems as part of a real construction team in
our new Integrated Lab.
Degree requirements
Take the following 19 units with a Grade of "C" or better in each course:
CM 120, CM 123, CM 130, CM 200L, CM 222, CM 223, CM 225 (19 units)
