Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS)

The BSCS provides career flexibility and a broad range of opportunities.  Our Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, www.abet.org.

When you graduate with the BSCS, you are well-qualified to work for top software development companies like Microsoft, Apple, Google, IBM, Lockheed, Intel, Honeywell, and other companies where the focus is on complex software systems. Others continue on to graduate school here at Northern Arizona University or at other highly-regarded universities.

BS in Computer Science vs. BS in Applied Computer Science - Which is Right for You?

The BSCS program is accredited and provides excellent preparation if you’re seeking a career in large-scale software engineering or plan to continue your studies toward an advanced degree.

The BSACS program may be a better choice if you’re seeking a career in smaller scale, hands-on applied programming.  See an advisor or computer science faculty member.
