Philosophy minor  

A minor in philosophy complements nearly every major.

Studying philosophy:

• challenges you to analyze concepts
• evaluate evidence and arguments
• gives you the foundation to make informed decisions
• create intelligent solutions to problems in all fields

Minor requirements

To complete this minor, you must fulfill the following 18 units: 

• PHI 240 and 241 (6 units)  
• 12 units of PHI courses, of which at least 9 must be upper-division (courses numbered from 300 to 599)
