Summer Youth ESL Camp is a new program beginning Summer, 2017. The 4-week camp is for international students ages 15 to 17 and includes English language courses, college preparatory content, and tours of diverse college and university campuses. It is designed to give the students an American cultural and university experience while allowing them to practice and improve their English skills, and includes college-preparatory courses on US culture, current events, and intercultural communication. Students will be provided with on-campus meals and housing but spend at least one weekend with a local family. In addition to the classroom instruction, students will enjoy trips to nearby attractions (such as the Grand Canyon, Bearizona, and the Lava River Cave), local events (such as college sports, 4th of July parade, and concerts in the park), and tours of other college and university campuses. Check back in December for information on applying for the Summer 2017 Youth ESL Camp.
