Applying

To be admitted as an international student into the Program in Intensive English, you must apply through the Center of International Education.

Who can be admitted 

We accept:

• International students who want to earn a degree from NAU but whose TOEFL scores do not meet the university English language requirements.
• Non-native English speakers who do not want a degree from NAU but want to improve their English.

Tuition cost

The Program in Intensive English costs the same as regular Northern Arizona University tuition, or Level 1-4 PIE Fee: $8243.00,  Level 5 PIE Fee: $5996.00.

Application cost

• If you are seeking a degree, you’ll pay the $50 NAU application fee.
• If you do not want a degree, you’ll pay the $50 PIE application fee.
